A new version of MailWasher was released last week, with speed improvement, spam reporting and other enhancements.

Spam reporting added

Now you can report offending spam to your Internet Provider, Government agency, Spamcop etc. Get revenge by reporting spam to organizations who can help do something about it.

When you report spam to these organizations, it helps track down the origin of spam along with helping investigation in to further stopping the spam senders.

It's easy to use, just go to: Settings » Spam Tools » Spam Reporting and setup the reporting service you want to report to.

Improved speed and stability

In our continued quest to improve the stability and speed of MailWasher, many users have already found this new version more reliable and faster at startup and shutdown.

Essentially we've combined the MailWasher engine and user interface in to one place, so this eliminates some shutdown probablems people were having and makes it faster.

What's coming next

Hiding emails: Use spam tools to hide emails you don't want to see.

Statistics: Get useful information about how much email you're getting, how it's classified and more.

More notification options: Many more ways to notify you of new emails.

Faster filters: - Filter evaluations will be faster

Import/Export settings: Make shifting to a new computer or backups a snap.
