To get here: On the MY RULES page, click the ADD NEW RULE button, then click CREATE NEW RULE button
The Create Rules screen lets you add your own custom rule if you couldn't find a preset rule.
Enter a name for your rule
Choose a simple name for your rule. This will appear on the MY RULES page
Enter a description for your rule
Enter a description of the rule if you wish. This will appear on the MY RULES page
Choose if encryption is enabled or disabled for this rule
Choose encryption on or off for the internet traffic in this rule. This can also be changed on the MY RULES page
Choose an application to redirect eg. outlook.exe
Press this button if you wish to redirect an application through another country
Choose a website to redirect
Press this button if you wish to redirect a website through another country
Enter the process name or website
When choosing an application name, use the process name. eg. outlook.exe or firefox.exe for example. Anything else won't work. You can see a process name by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + ESC, and then go to the Details tab.
When entering a website address, use the domain only. eg facebook.com, but if you want to capture all parts of a website, then the wildcard * can be used to capture the subdomains and other parts of a website. eg *facebook.com will capture www.facebook.com, facebook.com, abc.facebook.com, xyz.facebook.com etc. Don't enter the http part of a website.
Choose the location to redirect the traffic for this rule
This brings up a location selector so you can choose the location for your rule.
Create more advanced rules
This takes you to the advanced custom rules screen to allow you to create multiple filters with different characteristics.
