1

Your Firetrust Login (dropdown to show/select devices)

Click your email address to change the device profile. Each device has its own set of rules. For example your laptop computer might have different rules than your desktop computer. You can also logout here.
2

Turn rules on or off. Click to toggle enable/disable

The check mark lets you turn a rule on or off. Click the check mark to toggle the rule as enabled (orange) or disabled (grey). When a rule is off, HideAway will not act on that rule and your internet traffic will bypass HideAway.
3

Encryption is enabled. Click to toggle enable/disable

The shield icon lets you turn encryption for the rule on or off. Click the shield to toggle the encryption for the rule as enabled (orange) or disabled (grey).
4

Click to edit your custom rule

If you have created a custom rule, you can alter it by clicking the spanner icon. This will take you to the custom rules screen. Custom rules can also have their rule name and description altered here by clicking on the pencil icon which appears when you hover over the rule.
5

Change location this rule is redirected to

For preset rules, click the location icon to change the location where this rule is redirected to.
6

Delete this rule

Clicking the trash bin icon deletes the rule.
7

Add a new pre-defined or custom rule

This button takes you to the Preset Rules screen where you can choose to enable any preset rule. The Preset Rule page also lets you create your own custom rule.
8

Priortize your rules by drag and drop

Your rules need to be set in order of priority - drag and drop to their new location above or below other rules. Websites should be at the top, applications belong under websites and if you have one enabled, any all country redirect rules should be at the bottom. This is because, for example if you have Google Chrome redirected through Sweden, then you still want Hulu.com accessible in the USA so the Hulu.com rule needs to be above the Google Chorme rule.
9

Basic internet traffic stats

These statistics show the traffic through HideAway (encrypted and non-encrypted) and traffic which does not go through HideAway.
